As an Etsy seller myself, I know how hard sellers work to make their products and get them into the hands of customers. Whenever possible, I love supporting my fellow sellers and small shops by purchasing items from them. Whether buying gifts, products to include in my gift boxes, or supplies and accessories for my home and business, there are so many great products available on Etsy. Here is a list of some of my favourite Etsy products for small business owners.

Packaging
1. Custom Logo Stamp
There’s no question about it. Custom packaging can really take your small business to the next level. But getting custom packaging printed can be very expensive with high minimum order quantities. If your business isn’t there yet, a super affordable and easy to use option is to get a custom stamp (or stamps) made for your business. You can either get your logo made into a stamp or create a custom packaging stamp that has your business tags for social media, a cute message, etc.
I got two sizes/versions of my logo made into a stamp by Isavirtue. So far, I’ve used these to add my logo onto my shipping boxes, gift bags for pick up orders, mug boxes, and the back of my wooden signs. You can choose from a variety of sizes and whether or not to add a wooden handle onto your stamp. She also sells ink pads, so you can get everything you need to start branding your packaging.
2. Packaging Stickers
Stickers are an easy way to make your packaging stand out and add a fun or unique feel for your customers. Adding your brand name, logo, or social media tags can reinforce your brand identity in the customer’s mind and help them remember your shop. Adding call to actions such as “leave a review” or “share photos on social media” can remind and encourage your customers to do just that. Or using fun and silly sayings can make your customer feel more excited to open the package and leaves a longer lasting impression than receiving yet another plain cardboard package.
House of Hays sells a wide variety of packaging stickers that are perfect for all types of sellers and occasions. You can choose individual sheets or get the best bang for your buck and order in bulk! Here are some of my favourite stickers from her shop.

You can also make your own cute stickers with your Cricut! Check out this full tutorial on making Print then Cut stickers with your Cricut, including a free “Happy Mail” sticker printable.
Digital Files
3. Etsy Sales Map
A fun trend amongst Etsy sellers is colouring in a map of provinces/states where they’ve shipped orders. This can be a neat way to see how much your business has grown, while making a unique art piece to proudly display in your office.
I ship across Canada and the U.S. so I bought this printable sales map from ZZStickerCo. I loved the handwritten province & state names which I find gives it a more artsy look. I’m proud to say I’ve already coloured in a lot of provinces and states for 2021!
They also have maps for just Canada, just USA, and even one for Europe!
4. Digital Product Mockups
Have you used mockups before for your product photos? If not, they can be a great way to show your customers a variety of design or colour options without having to physically make each product to photograph. Popular mockups for Cricut makers include mugs, shirts, and wood signs.
To use mockups, you just need high quality photos and a program to add in your design. A few free options include Inkscape and Canva or use a paid program like Affinity Designer.
One of my favourite shops for t-shirt mockups is Pretty Little Mockup. She has gorgeous, trendy, and high quality mockups of clothing being worn. This can be a great way to show what your shirt looks like on a real person, instead of just laying flat. Many of her photos use the ever popular Bella + Canvas unisex t-shirts (3001 & 3001C). You can get photos with men, women, or even kids shirts plus other mockups such as mugs.

5. Cute Planters
One of the best ways to liven up your home office is by adding some green plants. Adding in an adorable planter is just icing on the cake. Ceramic Sense is a Canadian Etsy shop that makes the cutest little planters! Each planter is a different character with its own personality. Maya is my absolute favourite and you can get her as a sitting desk planter or the swinging version shown here.
I haven’t snagged one of these planters yet for myself as my house currently has about all the plants we can handle, but Abby’s planters are very high on my wish list.
6. Signs to Hang in Your Office
I know so many sign makers from my Instagram community and I am in awe of all of them. One of my favourite sign makers on Etsy is Willow Bee Signs. Erin and her husband make the most gorgeous signs, many of which would look amazing hanging in your home office. Their signs have 3D wood cut-outs and/or printed elements for truly unique details. Take a look at some of my favourite signs from their shop which would be perfect for your office.
